Napa
Valley is made up of six distinct areas: Napa, Yountville, Oakville /
Rutherford, St. Helena, Calistoga, and Lake Berryessa. Together, they
create a destination beyond compare with lush, rolling hills, rows of
manicured vineyards lining the valley floor and hillsides, rock
palisades, beautiful lakes, and meandering streams--all the natural
beauty one could ask for.
The
many micro-climates and soils of the Napa Valley play host to every
imaginable flora and the climate is ideal for growing grapes, the Napa
Valley's primary industry. The rich heritage of the families who brought
the grapevines to the Valley more than 150 years ago, still influence
the lifestyles and respect of the land by current residents. Napa
